Platycerium wandae is one of the largest known staghorn ferns, native to Papua New Guinea and prized for its massive, upright shield fronds and wide fertile fronds. The Dwarf form is a selected or mutated individual exhibiting naturally compact growth—smaller shield fronds, shorter lobes, and a tighter overall structure. Despite the size reduction, it maintains the distinctive vertical growth posture and soft green velvet texture of the species.
